V is for Verse

This month we have chosen Steph Devlin's beautiful colourful layout to lift.

You can find more of her stunning creations here.

This is what Steph had to say about herself:

"Mad scrapping artist, passionate about life and her art. Adores her family to bits.

Interests: hobbies: scrapping (of course), drama, acting (even though I'm really bad), movie watching (omg so addicted), anything to do with the arts. Favourite actors: Cate Blanchett & Kenneth Brannagh."

Use Steph's layout for inspiration and create a layout of your own - we would like to see you add a verse, poem or saying. If you are really not interested in adding words - please feel free to just follow the sketch.

We drew our sketch as always

Winner of the February Card Challenge

Krafty Karen has had the difficult task of choosing a winner the the card challenge she set for February.

Karen said:

"Well that was really really hard – so many beautiful entries and everyone has put so much work into them.
I have chosen Claire as the winner – so many little details to the card without the card being swamped and overloaded with embellishments, I particularly love how she has used ribbons with the die cut butterfly and then attached smaller punched butterflies to the ribbon, it is very effective

Congratulations and please email us to claim your prize Claire.

Winner of the Daffodil Card Challenge for chYps

We have today received news of the winning entry for this challenge.

Many thanks to everyone who took part and created some lovely cards for the chYps team to send out to families in sympathy.

The chYps team voted for their favourite and this dotty card from

Krafty Karen

is the winner.

A reminder of the challenge -
Tracie Dempster, Head of Care at ChYps asked us if we would like to take part in a card making challenge.

Together with Scrapology, Tracie supplied the basic materials for making a daffodil sympathy card. The Chyps Team want to send out a card to families after the death of the child they have cared for. The team would like these cards to have some similarities and so the card blank, envelope, printed insert, some digital cardstock (for stamping) and the daffodil stamp have all been supplied together with Stazon or Memento Ink (for stamping). After that how you colour your image or decorate your card is up to you!

You are still welcome to make one or more, just ask. State the type of ink you need your image stamped in and we will send you the necessary materials.

Woodware Stamp
Karen please contact us and we will send your prize.

More cards received from Debbie Siddle:

Many thanks.
